It wasn't until watching my old home movies I realized I always seemed to have a camera in my hands. There was the plastic Rollieflex knockoff used in 2nd grade to pose my class in front of our new school, the Kodak Instamatic that begged to "Open Me First" under the Christmas tree, and the Polaroid Swinger for instantly capturing my high school girlfriends. Until I saw those films I thought my photographic path begin as the wife of a traveling musician when I aspired to be the next Linda McCartney. Joining the SVA represents the setting for the next scene of my photographic experience.
Along with a background in broadcast journalism I have been afflilitated with the National Press Photographers Association, Native Indian/Inuit Photographers Association (CA), Native American Journalists Association, Artists In Cellophane, and the UW-Madison TLAM Convening Culture Keepers program (documentarian).
As a Motion Picture Stills Photographer I have been credited in two feature length films: The Rewakening and Disorders of the Instincts and Emotions.
